Students

We truly believe that this generation of students are world-changers in the making. We know that the middle and high schools years are a time where students are most in need of kindness, community, and someone to walk alongside them as they grow. Our student ministry provides just that, connecting students with one another as well as with leaders who want to support them in their journeys.

Study Hub
Stay tuned. Once restrictions allow, there is a possibility of Connection Point hosting a community learning, self-motivated study block program that runs weekly on Tuesdays from 3:30-5:00pm for students in grades 5-8. **Not Currently Running**

Kids S.W.A.T. Days
Pro D Day relief for parents by having a safe place for kids to be for the day.
Kids join us for games, crafts and a fun movie on Pro D Days for SD 62 and LCA.

Women

Women's ministries at our church are designed to connect women outside of Sunday church. We value putting effort into fostering a space for women to meet others who are in the same season of life, since it’s important to have close-knit communities to help navigate the ups and downs of life together. Our main goal is to make women's ministries at our church a place where anyone in our congregation can grow closer to community while ultimately growing closer to Christ.

Connect N’ Craft - Connect N’ Craft is a weekly craft program for women in our Westshore Community. All supplies will be provided. Meeting on Thursdays mornings from 9:30-12:00. We recommend registration with Leila Dobson: 250-812-8647. **Not Currently Running**

Men

Gods Grunts
In this men’s group, they meet two Saturdays/ month at Connection Point, drink coffee, eat donuts, chat about projects, and dive into fellowship with each other and God.

Once a month we do a service project to help our community be a better place. The service projects include gardening, landscaping for seniors, assisting with the completion of projects, or helping out the Salvation Army.

Do you have a service project in mind for the Gods Grunts group? Interested in joining?

Family

It takes a village to raise a child and we want to help you build that community around you. We believe it is important for the family to have a place to hang out, have fun and connect with other people. You can even bring the grandparents, as there’s fun for all.

Family Events — When provincial health orders allow, we host monthly events for families to have fun together. This program seeks to nurture stronger and healthier family connections and to provide a space for to meet new people in the community. Keep up-to-date on our Facebook page.

Sunday Worship — As a family-based church, we strive to foster an environment where you and your family can call home. We can be your local family church and are open to inputs on how we can provide services that build you up and give you strength.

Our Hubs or Groups exist to cultivate intimacy with God and each other. People meeting together is great way to connecting by using helpful resources, feeling supported, and finding friendships that will help you live a fuller life in Christ.

Our Hubs or Groups are built around three simple foundations… Follow ~ Jesus, Love ~ God and Others, Live ~ A Surrendered, Generous and Service Filled Life. We believe that Life is most fully lived as a response to God’s love for us.  So, no matter what stage or season of life you are in - we invite you to join us! We can't wait to help you connect with others in our church.

Bible Study on Tuesday mornings between 10:00-11:30 am in the multipurpose room.
